Challenges and Opportunities for Reskilling Workers

April 12, 2022 @ 10:00 am

In the early 1900s, tractors began to replace farm workers in the fields, and many farm workers were left without a way to make a decent living. This became the start of the second large industrial revolution. These workers moved from the farms to the factories, acquiring new skills, oftentimes through paid training programs by industry leaders. As we approach a new technological revolution, how can educators and employers re-skill workers for careers of the future?

We’ll hear from students who have changed careers and upskilled to compete in a rapidly changing work environment, and discuss ways to scale educational programs equitably and economically for incumbent workers of all types.

This webinar is free and open to the public.
